Article on Wetland Education Club's participation in Singapore-held Envirofest in Daily News, Sri Lanka

An article featuring the Wetland Education Club, a student and community educational effort as part of EE2's pollution mitigation project in Kandy Lake, was published in the Daily News, Sri Lanka's national newspaper (2 October 2012). The Wetland Education Club of Mahamaya Girls' College was in Singapore as honorary participant of the Envirofest, a nationwide environmental exhibition for primary and secondary schools, organised by Commonwealth Secondary School. Publication of journal paper related to LEF project

EE2 is pleased to announce that a journal paper ‘Tropical application of floating wetlands for lake restoration’ was published in the Official Scholarly Journal of the Society of Wetland Scientists on 29 August 2012. This research was undertaken as a result of the Lien Environmental Fellowship project ‘Mitigation of Pollution in Kandy Lake & Mid Canal (Kandy, Sri Lanka)’, led by Dr Shameen Jinadasa of the University of Peradeniya. Congratulations to Dr Shameen and co-authors.
